The fleet of ten 68 foot round the world racing yachts offer a unique and exciting big yacht experience for corporate and private sailing.

Globally unique, the Clipper 68 yachts are the only matched fleet for non-professional round the world racing. Designed for fast, down-wind sailing, they are the fastest yachts ever built for non-professional circumnavigations.This fleet has become increasingly popular for corporations who acknowledge the synergies between success in the boardroom and success on the water and who wish to stand out from their competition by offering stakeholders more than the average yacht experience.

The Match Racing Round the World Sailing Fleet

The new state-of-the-art Clipper 68s are from the drawing board of celebrated yacht designer Ed Dubois. The ten strong Clipper fleet offers an unparalleled big boat experience for any corporation looking for an exciting fleet racing experience.

The yachts are also ideal for management training and team leadership, adventure sailing or corporate hospitality, and offer an excellent branding platform in the industry and public regattas on the Solent.

The Clipper Experience (1 yacht)

The Clipper Experience gives up to 12 guests an opportunity to experience big boat sailing. With a comprehensive training session in the morning, the afternoon can include a number of challenges:

Time trials:

Splitting into two groups, each team ‘races’ around a set course trying to beat the other’s time. Guaranteed to improve team work and encourage competitive spirit!

Solent cruise:

Sit back and relax or take an active role in sailing, cruising past some of the fantastic sites the South coast and Isle of Wight has to offer.

Match Race (2 or more yachts)

Matched racing gives teams an opportunity to race on a level playing field, where the only difference in performance is measured by the teams’ ability to sail the yacht.

Comprehensive training from our professional crew in the morning is tested in the afternoon with an opportunity to compete in up to three short races. Match racing provides an excellent platform for team building and communication – lessons on the water that translate to the workplace.

Island Hospitality

Combine an action packed day on the water with a leisurely break ashore, stopping for lunch in one of Cowes' or Yarmouth's fine restaurants. Whether entertaining clients, rewarding the team or building internal communications, a mid day break is an opportunity to relax and network in an informal environment in preparation for an afternoon of sailing.

Bespoke Events

With a choice from Sir Robin's Open 60, to a unique class of round the sailing yachts, and from a selection of RIBs to luxury motor boats, the only limitations to on-the water events is imagination.

The charter rates include:

• 1 yacht for the day
• 1 skipper and 1 mates per yacht ( Round the Island - 3 mates)
• Access to foul weather clothing and all safety equipment
• Access to Events Suite
• Standard yacht hire from 08.30 - 17.00 per day
• Breakfast, racing lunch, tea and soft drinks (details on request)

YACHTS ARE CODED FOR

• Up to twelve guests on each yacht
• Personal accident insurance cover
• Full compliance to Marine Coastguard Agency's Code of Practice

PAYMENT

• All prices exclude VAT
• Yacht bookings will be confirmed subject to payment of a 25 % deposit.
