The Sigma 38

The Sigma 38 successfully combines the excitement of one-design racing with comfortable cruising.

A fast, stable and safe boat that provides spacious accommodation for up to ten people, the Sigma 38 is easily raced by an average crew, yet provides the most demanding sailor with challenging close class racing.

These yachts have extensive sail wardrobes and have earned well-deserved reputations as offshore racing yachts.

They are ideally suited for both inshore regattas and offshore racing as well as for fast efficient cruising. Please contact the office to charter a Sigma 38 or if you wish to organise a corporate hospitality event with these fast racing yachts.

The Sigma 8

The fleet of Sigma 8 meter yachts is second to none and unique along the South Coast. We offer corporate hospitality, team building and fun days out to suit a wide range of experience levels and are able to tailor our package to suit your requirements.

This fleet of yachts is the ideal answer for fast match racing as the Sigma 8's are incredibly nimble and responsive. The racing is always close and exhilarating and they are perfect in getting your colleagues or clients afloat and giving them the real experience of sailing. Each yacht takes a crew of five plus one qualified skipper to give you instruction and ensure your enjoyment on the water. With a matched fleet of 6 boats we can take up to 30 sailors at any one time, bigger numbers can be split amongst of yachts for a fun packed day out on the water.

Sample Itinerary for Match Racing Sigma's:

9.30 The professional qualified staff will greet you for breakfast (additional cost), followed by a briefing from our operations manager on the days activities.

9.45 Sailing familiarisation on board the yachts. The skippers teach novices the basics and share their knowledge with those with more experience. By the end of the morning, everyone is prepared for the afternoons activities.

12.30 Return to shore for lunch followed by a race briefing and the usual taunts of who will be victorious by the end of the day!

13.15 Set sail again for a series of short races between the boats. As the yachts are identical the racing is very tactical and extremely exciting.

17.00 De-brief and presentation.
