This has to be the most energising conference kick-start or antidote to the dreaded post-lunch 'graveyard' slot!
Ladies and gentlemen, start your engines! Virtual Grand Prix is the most adrenaline-fueled conference energiser yet, specially-created to get an audience going before a morning conference session or rev them up right after lunch.
Virtual Grand Prix uses on-screen animation to show the cars on the track. Each car is 'controlled' by the racing teams, represented by sections of the audience, and led by a racing driver look-a-like who trains their team and provides instructions.
Youve heard of air guitar - well, Virtual Grand Prix is air motor racing. It is designed to appeal to the Formula One driver in all of us.
By turning their virtual steering wheels, leaning right and left, ducking for bridges and screaming out sound effects for a variety of manoeuvres, the teams control the progress of their cars and react to instructions flashed up on screen. The action begins on the starting grid where lights flash from red to green and the race to the finish line begins. Be prepared for virtual spins, virtual blow-outs and virtual pile-ups as the cars career around the track at breakneck speeds while live commentary gives updates and predictions. The team that works together as one will get to the chequered flag first, take the winners podium and bask in the glory.
As with the real thing, virtually anything can happen in Virtual Grand Prix. But one thing is certain - everyone will feel energised, positive, and ready for the next presentation.
